First, you select a bisque ware that you wish to paint and any color of our non-toxic paints. Wipe off your pottery with a damp sponge, sign and paint your piece! Then, we dip your piece in non-toxic (non-leaded) clear glaze to seal it; now it’s food safe! Your piece is then fired in our kiln on site, beautifully finished and ready for pick up within one week Walk ins always welcome - no reservation needed! We provide a bright, cheerful place to celebrate a special occasion, bring a date, or unwind after a long day. Our studio offers plenty of natural light and warmth of natural wooded furniture making it the perfect environment to create an original design for the home, or to give as a personalized gift. the mad potter offers hundreds of unfinished pottery pieces ranging from mugs and plates to picture frames and candlesticks. Since pieces are functional, children, as well as adults, will have a sense of accomplishment. All paints are non-toxic, and all dinnerware items are food-safe. Diva Nights: Dress in you best Diva outfit grab your gal pals and a bottle of wine for a fun night of painting pots. Third Friday of every month! Jr. Diva Nights: This is a night devoted to our Teen gal pals ages 8 and up. Dress in your best Diva outfit grab your gal pals for a fun night filled with painting pots, pizza, soda and music! Studio Fees ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE POTTERY: Adult Painting Party $3 retail hours/ $5 after hours + Price of Pottery Senior Citizens Discount: Thursday $4.00 off any piece “Happy Hour” discount 2nd & 4th Fridays from 4-8 take advantage of our discounted rates of $4.00 off each piece no matter how many you paint. In celebration that’s it finally Friday and time to unwind and relax! Classes Clay Classes, Project Painting Classes, Home School Classes, Mosaic’s Classes, Painting technique Classes, Glass Slumping Classes along with many seasonal classes. Party Times Saturday 11:30 am to 1 pm * 2:00 pm to 3:30pm * 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Sunday 12:30 -2 pm & 3:00pm- 4:30pm Weekday Times Available Parental Supervision Required (1 per 8 kids) Pieces will be ready for pick-up within 1 week *Minimum Guests = 8 * Maximum Seating = 24 2 Week Notice requested for Parties w/ $50 non refundable Deposit Each Additional 1/2 Hour Studio Time -$50.00 + cost of additional pottery pieces. 10 day Party Cancellation Notice Required. 15% Staff Gratuity will be added to all parties . If attendance falls short of these minimums, the party giver will still be charged for the minimum. Adults cannot paint in place of children. Drop-offs are encouraged for all parties. Guest of Honor will receive a plate personalized by all the guests. Children's Story Hour Every Friday 11am - 12pm We’ll read a story taking you to a magical place of creativity and make believe, then you’ll paint a ceramic item of the stories theme.
